Welcom to the Slim Body Run/ Walk Club Page. Our Current Run / Walk Event is Scheduled for March 15th in Santa Monica 7am. Before the event takes place we must put in miles throughout the week to make sure that we are physically and mentally prepared ro the race.


Before each practice run it is important to do dynamic stretches (lunges, squats, leg kicks, high knees, ect.............)

During the week this is the workout run program I would like for you to follow.


Sunday: Group Run
Monday: All runners/ walkers rest and stretch.

Tuesday:
5k walkers : Walk 20 mins
10k: Jog 45 mins
15k: Jog 55mins
1/2 Marathon: Jog 1hr

Wednesday:
5k walkers: Walk 20 mins
10k: Interval Running 30 mins (sprint 10 secs jog 45secs)
15k: Interval Running 40mins (sprint 10 secs jog 45secs)
1/2: Marathon: Interval Running 50mins (sprint 10 secs jog 45secs)

Thursday: Stretch

Friday:
5k walkers : Walk 20 mins
10k: Jog 45 mins
15k: Jog 55mins
1/2 Marathon: Jog 1hr

Saturday:
5k walkers: Walk 20 mins
10k: Interval Running 30 mins (sprint 10 secs jog 45secs)
15k: Interval Running 40mins (sprint 10 secs jog 45secs)
1/2: Marathon: Interval Running 50mins (sprint 10 secs jog 45secs)
